About
We are an optimistic bunch trying to reflect our own carefully curated little space upon the world. All of us are from different walks of life with a common thread binding us, that of following our individual passion while collectively trying our best to care for our Mother Earth. Creativity guides us at every step — from mindful design that honors our planet, to our customers’ unique touch in styling, to each piece completing its circle back to the Earth.

Passion & Vision
We envision changing Fashion as a whole, through our vision and purpose. While we relentlessly pursue our artistic vision, we want to make sure we have left the world in a better place than when we inherited it. Tequmah is a feeling as well as a call for action for a conscious and cohesive world.

At the heart of my journey is a close-knit team I have grown alongside since founding my design house in 2011. United by trust, talent, and shared purpose, we form a thoughtful collective, with master pattern cutters, skilled hand embroiderers, gig artisans, and spirited young women—who bring every piece to life with care and conviction. Together, they push creative boundaries and craft garments that carry meaning, memory, and beauty.

I’m so thrilled to share my journey because this workshop truly feels like home. I love what I do—there’s a special kind of joy in creating, problem-solving, and watching ideas come to life. Every project has helped me grow the workshop. What makes it even more meaningful is the team I work with—they’ve become like family. We work seamlessly together, and I’m passionate about supporting their growth and fulfillment. Looking ahead, I see the workshop as a vibrant space for creativity and excellence, constantly pushing boundaries and exploring new possibilities. I’m so grateful to be part of this journey and incredibly excited for all that lies ahead.

With God’s grace, I have five beautiful young kids and a wife I want to take care of. I want to see them obtain a good higher education so they are equipped to create a good life for themselves. In my spare time, I grow plants in my workshop and take care of the needy cats and kittens in my locality. I wish to continue all of this and dream of owning my own house with a little garden to tend to.
Dye & Print artist
I have been teaching fashion and textiles for the past 2 decades now and also run “Jaish_art” which provides products and services of natural and Azo-free dye since 2021. I am very passionate about promoting natural dyes and sustainability in fashion and love to experiment with various natural ingredients to achieve different colours. Tequmah has given me the perfect platform to do so. I Hope to achieve greater awareness in natural dyeing and promote slow fashion.
